Yay!!! woke up to emails this morning telling me that Danforth was in the Maine Sunday Telegram as the Features Staff's favorite B&B in Maine. SO appreciative. Validation for lots of hard work is always amazing.

This is the view that RIPS my heart out - I'm choked up just looking at it. I wish Ava could come with me every moment of every day and breaks my heart when she jumps in the window of the guest room and watches me leave. Ughhhhh..... I know sometimes she is happier at home than she would be running around with me - though most times that is preferable.

July 5th Fireworks

As much as I hate being away from Ava, probably good that she isn't in Boothbay with me tonight - two nights of trying to bite the fireworks may have been too much. We could only hear Bar Harbor's last night, these are right from the beach at Smugglers Cove.
