Sometimes, in order to really take in an amazing sight, one needs to stand back. Sometimes it is a famous artist’s masterpiece and sometimes it is a breathtaking view of nature. Sometimes, if you are too close, you can’t fully realize the awesomeness.
At Starcrest, you are perched above the village of Bar Harbor looking out at the incredible view which people from around the world marvel. From your private, contemporary home, you have a constant seat to view one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, Frenchman Bay dotted with the Porcupine Islands and mountains.
Standing at the edge of the ocean is a fantastic feeling but sometimes you need to back up to absorb the entire picture.

Most thoughtful people I know no longer eat veal because it involves killing a baby. As spring and Easter approach, I hope everyone will think twice before eating or ordering lamb. Please don't eat baby animals this season.
