ARU has a rescue mission under way....this time.. it's baby goats. Sometimes in the Dairy industry ( cattle and goats) when a male baby is born it is killed immediately ether by slamming it into a wall or with a shovel. This time, ARU is here to help! We have struck a deal with a farmer in VT to give us the males born this dairy round (a dairy round is when babies are born twice a year). So Tuesday we are heading to VT to pick up 6 new born baby goats. We need to raise $300 for their bail ($60- ten a piece) , gas $100 ( 8 hour drive in an SUV), food ( $50 for supplement feed) and $90 for building material for their custom built stall with heat!
