In 2006 and 2007 when the real estate market was amazing, Nashville and New York City adventures were constant and there was not yet a little Yorkie to take care of, I built an entire loft apartment around a photo of a kitchen I found in a magazine. The great folks at Maine Home + Design Magazine - Candace Karu was the writer and Darren Setlow the photographer - made sure it stayed forever as a great memory:

I'm pretty sure I am about to do that again - design a space around a kitchen photo - with this photo as inspiration.
